Early Interest
I have been playing World of Warcraft since 2007. From the moment I logged on, I was fascinated with the game. Ever since then, I knew I wanted to work with video games in some way.
My love for video games gave me a general interest in computers as well, which helped me excel in IT classes during high school. This paired with my strong math skills made the decision to pursue further education in this field an easy one.
University Foundation
During my time at Eszterházy Károly Catholic University, I had the opportunity to explore various branches of programming, such as developing web applications and setting up and managing databases.
I also learned a lot about operating systems, servers, and client-server communications.
Game Programming
Unfortunately, none of these areas sparked my interest as much as video game programming. In my spare time, I started developing smaller projects with Unity, guided by online courses and YouTube tutorials.
This gave me a lot of confidence in my programming skills, as I finally got to apply concepts I had learned during my university classes, such as design patterns, data structures, algorithms.
Futuregames
After graduating from university, I decided to further my knowledge in game programming in a structured environment surrounded by like-minded people, so I applied to Futuregames.
